Students provided training in scientific writing during a two-day UVAS workshop

LAHORE – The Department of Food Sciences and Human Nutrition (FSHN) of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) organized the closing ceremony of the two-day training workshop on “scientific writing Here on the city campus on Tuesday. The Vice-Chancellor (VC) of UVAS, Professor Nasim Ahmad, chaired the closing ceremony of the training workshop and distributed certificates to participants and resource persons. Dr Qaiser Raza, Dr Azmatullah and Dr Asif Ali were the resource persons for the training. Speaking on the occasion, Professor Dr Nasim Ahmad congratulated the organizer for organizing the workshop on an informative topic. He said such trainings were needed to learn innovative creative writing skills. He spoke to the students about the three phases of writing a thesis, namely design, execution and writing. He urged students to educate themselves on the techniques and skills required for writing theses and articles. Dr Qaiser Raza said the aim of the training workshop was to improve the science writing skills of postgraduate students. Various aspects relating to the writing and publishing process, basic writing principles, title and summary, introduction, methods, results and discussion were discussed during the workshop. two days.
