Workshop course

Maximize the potential of your voice at the Newbury Choral Society workshop

Your voice is a little jaded after the summer break? The Newbury Choral Society is hosting a vocal workshop on Saturday 10th September for singers who want to refresh their voice after the summer and explore ways to maximize their voice’s potential.

They were fortunate enough to get the skills of two experienced and professionally trained singers and voice experts to present a class that will focus on correct breathing and warm-up techniques, increasing pitch and vocal range and the care of the voice as it matures.

The presentation, by Vetta Wise and Becky Moseley-Morgan, will include vocals, with the pieces chosen to practice these vocal techniques.

The course will be presented at Thatcham Catholic Hall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a lunch break.

Although the event was well supported, there are still a few places available for singers from any choral or solo background who would be interested in taking part in what promises to be a fun day out, priced at £45.

Anyone interested should contact [email protected], specifying voice and choir affiliation, if applicable.
