The Lompoc Division of Parks and Recreation is hosting a workshop to provide job search resources for teens and young adults from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, April 20 and Thursday, April 21 at the Anderson Recreation Center.
The summer job workshop for teenagers is designed to inform young people aged 15 to 19 about the job search process. The workshop will focus on a new technique useful for a successful career search, including how to acquire and complete a job application, resume writing, and interview tips and techniques.
Everyone who completes the program is guaranteed an interview with the Lompoc Parks and Recreation Division for summer employment. This camp has proven to be helpful in helping teens and young adults find summer employment that can increase their employment opportunities.
