The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, in association with the State Bank of India and the Association of Indian Banks, is organizing a one-day workshop on “Creditors Committee: An Institution of Public Faith” for bank officers .
The workshop will take place in hybrid mode (offline in Chennai) on the 7the January 2022.
The workshop aims to develop an understanding of the role of the Creditors Committee under the IBC, 2016 and to build the capacity of institutional financial creditors to ensure that the Creditors Committee fulfills its statutory obligations and responsibilities with the greater care and diligence, to enable them to make business decisions that will result in the generation of multiple resolution plans and approval of the most beneficial and finally, to balance the interests of all stakeholders in the resolution process .
The workshop is free. However, the number of physical participants is limited to 50 to ensure effective interactions.

Course eligibility: Senior management and senior management (deputy managing directors and above) of commercial banks and regular financial institutions, who are the decision makers in the insolvency resolution process.
