Govt PG College Holds Workshop on Special PM Scholarship Scheme – Jammu and Kashmir Latest News | Tourism

RAJOURI, August 6: The Government Post Graduate (PG) College held a one-day workshop on the Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme here today.
A large number of students from the twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch from various schools and colleges, parents and members of civil society in addition to college faculty members attended this mega event.
The program was chaired by Dr. Javed Ahmed Qazi, Head of College, while Prof. Ajeet Angral, PMSSS J&K Nodal Consultant/Officer was the keynote speaker and special guest Prof. KK Sharma Principal GDC Nowshera acted as as an observer and the college’s Vice-Principal Professor Javed Mughal graced the occasion as a special guest.
The event was coordinated by the PM Special Scholarship Scheme Committee of Government PG College Rajouri led by Professor Yasir Chowdhary.
Professor Ajeet Angral gave a detailed and very informative presentation and explained every minute detail regarding the program.
The students were explained about the eligibility criteria, the method of filling in the application form, the role of the facilitation centers and all the future courses of action of the PMSS program.
A Q&A session was also held during which Angral further clarified the questions and doubts of the eager candidates.
In his Presidential Address, Dr. JA Qazi expressed his joy for the successful holding of this mega event and encouraged students and parents to take advantage of this historic program which will undoubtedly transform the entire educational scenario of J&K State at the time. come.
Dr. KK Sharma Principal GDC Nowshera also addressed the gathering and shed light on various aspects of the program.
Earlier, the event started with the welcome speech by Professor Yasir Chowdhary.
The debates on the dais were led by Prof. Yasir Choudhary, Coordinator of the Program Committee while Prof. Azar Javed presented the vote of thanks.
