Aimée is back to teach us how to make a set of small button vases. Don’t feel like making a vase but curious about the process? Come join the peanut gallery! If you want to actively participate in the workshop, here is the material you will need.

List of materials:
– Newspaper or paper towel
– Toothpick / sharp pencil
– Small brushes
– Cloth and or sponge
– clay

The clay can be picked up at the Moon In June studio (contactless if necessary) for an amount of $ 25 / person payable by electronic transfer sent to [email protected] The fees also include baking your vase so you can enjoy your creation for years to come! Pickup dates will be announced closer to the session date and after the workshop Aimee will set up drop-off times so people can bring their finished work to the studio to be laid off. Once the pots are cooked, workshop participants will be contacted to collect their finished works of art!

Who is Aimée?
Aimee Baldwin is a tactile craftswoman with formal training in the arts of fashion and design. She fell in love with clay in high school and rekindled her interest by taking weekly pottery classes at Riverdale Farms in Toronto. In December 2014, Aimee completed an intensive four-month ceramic arts course at the Haliburton School of the Arts. She opened Moon In June Studio on October 1, 2015.

Moon In June Studio is based in Kenora, Ontario, and offers unique, handmade ceramics for everyday functional use and decorative aesthetic pleasure. Aimee also organizes various ceramic workshops, private parties and has sometimes visited surrounding communities to share her craft.

Moon In June Studio is operated by ceramic artist Aimee Baldwin. Aimee offers private and group pottery classes in her workshop, and she conducts ceramic workshops in classrooms at local schools in her community. Aimee also designs and creates functional ceramic artwork that she sells online, in her studio gallery, and at various local festivals and events.
