KARACHI: The second line master trainer training workshop on the certificate course for nurse educators is held here. WHO Provincial Chief Dr Sara Salman said: “Sindh Nurses Examination Board Secretary Khair-un-Nisa has been with us for three years and has trained 8,000 nurses and midwives and has been delegated in HDU/ICU/Isolation Centers and well managed during Covid -19 Pandemic and provided support to Department of Health, Government of Sindh.
Guest of Honour, Dr. Rozina Karmliani, Dean of AKU, said, “Khair-un-Nisa is doing a great job for the development of the nursing profession. I watched her performance in Sindh and she is the Florence Nightingale of that era.
During the Covid-19 pandemic emergency, chief guest Dr. Jumman DG Health acknowledged his hard work and service to the nation. She was sent to NCOC for her outstanding performance in handling the Covid-19 pandemic emergency in Sindh.
Masood Ishrat, Registrar Sindh Ombudsman, said the teacher training workshop needed time and Khair-un-Nisa was doing well. Khair-un-Nisa Khan explained the purpose of organizing this workshop to enhance capacity building of faculty members across Sindh. This course helps nursing educators explore and learn about modern nursing education.
In this regard, faculties from various schools of nursing are invited to present lectures, interactive sessions and panel discussions. “We selected candidates from different public nursing colleges to attend this course. I think that the participants gained more knowledge on the subject dealt with in this workshop. »
Khair-un-Nisa and Dr. Sara visited frequently and found the workshop to be really interesting and fruitful for nursing educators. Khair-un-Nisa asked DG Health Dr Juman Bahoto and Dr Sara Salman to organize a management training workshop for leading nursing colleges.
Different renowned professors, researchers, lecturers and academicians were invited from all over Sindh including Dr. Yasmin Amarsi, Dr. Rubina Barolia, Dr. KhairulNissa Aajni, Prof. Tazeen Saeed, Dr. Sumaira Punjwani, Alia Nasir, Shakila Laghari, Nazneen , Dr Dildar, M Rehan, Abdul Manan, Abdul Karim etc.
